Privacy Promise

Kept Cloud is designed so Cloud operators cannot browse your notes from the admin panel. Notes, checklist text, labels, reminder text, attachments, and images are stored as encrypted vault data.

Admin tools show operational metadata like account status, storage totals, sync health, billing state, and backup records, not note contents.

Important Limits

Some optional integrations need narrow, explicit access to do their job. For example, if you enable hosted calendar sync, Kept Cloud needs your encrypted calendar connection and user-granted reminder material to create or update calendar events. Locked notes remain excluded from hosted integrations.

For Self-Hosters

You can still self-host Kept. Kept Cloud is for people who want sync without maintaining their own server.

Data Requests

You can disconnect hosted integrations from Kept, revoke account sessions, and request account deletion. See the basic privacy policy for the operational details.
